Sign to stop cruel animal poisoning

Sign our petition calling on the Victorian Labor Government and Ministers for Agriculture and Environment to end the use of 1080 poison across Victoria.

1080 must replaced with kinder, non-lethal alternatives that are also more effective - such as immuno-contraception for non-native species.

This should not be a difficult decision to make - with 1080 already being banned in many countries across the world. It's time for us to catch up.

We, the undersigned, support an end to the use of 1080 poison in Victoria.

Poisoning is one of the cruelest ways for an animal to die, and when an animal is poisoned with 1080, there is no antidote.

Despite not being the 'target' of 1080 poison, each year, it kills countless native and domestic animals.

In Victoria, the Parliamentary Inquiry into Ecosystem Decline recommended a phase out of 1080 poison - starting with Victoria's national parks, and then on private and agricultural land.

We call on the Victorian Labor Government and Ministers for Agriculture and Environment to accept and implement this recommendation.

The personal information collected by Do Gooder is held subject to a Data Processing Agreement between Do Gooder and The Campaigner in compliance with the EU's GDPR and Australian law.
