The Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act 1986 and any relevant subordinate legislation must be amended to completely ban the importation, sale, possession, and use of shock collars in Victoria, regardless of their purpose or intensity level.
Now is the time to take action as the Victorian Government is in the process of reviewing the legislation and developing the new Animal Welfare Act. If we make our voices heard we can defend the voiceless and save dogs from further unnecessary suffering.
